Mirrors - Hating What We See

These times are tiring when finding the edges
Of another thought on the outskirts of my brain

Buried underneath all the chaos this world has thrown at me
I struggle to simplify the equation of all I am designed for

God I struggle in pursuit of my purpose in each and every day

These demons and mirrors tie me down

Enamored by a sliver of hope for something with meaning

But I can't squeeze through these cracks
I can't breakdown these barricaded windows and doors

Father I pray you tear the roof off my life
Pour your light into this dark room

Breathe your peace and love in me
Bringing clarity and confidence

How wrong to be on cruise control
Yet I am stuck in neutral

Light a fire and burn down these four walls
Let me run from that place of destruction
