"The most lively thought is still inferior to the dullest sensation" - David Hume

The Lies in Alliance

Similar thoughts parallel from a place left behind.
Illusions of security broken by ripples in reality.
The nature of those so kind hearted doesn't exist,
In these thoughts you are held so dear.
Yet the feeling is nowhere near mutual.

An apology is deserved for these actions,
But the nature has become steady.
Cutting ties and creating knots,
Choosing to let go instead of love.
A curse refusing to be repealed.

Becoming a drifter to these lives.
A go-between, merely a medium.
Honestly it hurts a some nights,
Too bad this heart grows harder.
These stings seem so sublime.

Wishing your names could be mentioned.
Despite the painful punctures you produce,
Headstrong, refusing to fall to your heels.
Possibly it is prideful to present this poem.
Read between the lines and realize the reasons.

-Here.
